In Feb 2009 I was asked by the textile artist Ellie Evens to make her a desk to work at in her new, small studio. There were heavy financial restrictions. I used just 1 sheet of ply wood and some timber to make a desk, shelf and drawers (out of old freezer trays), which were all designed in collaboration with the artist. I have also designed and made a portable display cabinet for Ellie.
